Communities

AEDC data can help identify how children’s development is supported in the community - what is working well and where there are gaps.

The AEDC provides a common ground to build community action to help shape the future and wellbeing of children.

Communities, community services and community initiatives can use the AEDC to assess their progress, refine strategies, and track improvements in child development outcomes.

Results provide a snapshot of how children are tracking in communities. By exploring these results, communities can work together to find out what works well and what can be improved, to provide better support for local children and families.

Community stories show how communities have used the AEDC data. Find them on the resources page.
