Summary
Kurri Kurri is a small rural town in the Hunter Region, about 150km north of Sydney.
AEDC results showed 18.5 per cent of children vulnerable on one or more domains, with 11.1 per cent of children developmentally vulnerable in physical health and wellbeing.
As a result, the I Move, We Move program was rolled out to every preschool and early childhood service in the upper Hunter region. Kurri Kurri Preschool then used the results and other data to successfully apply for a grant to employ an occupational therapist.
