Westfield Park Primary School (WA)

Community development, early intervention and student services included in a full-service school model to improve outcomes for children.

Summary

Westfield Park Primary School serves a highly transient community in Perth’s south-east. The school enrols children from Kindergarten to Year 6.

The results showed a significant improvement in the proportion of children who were developmentally vulnerable between 2012 and 2015. This was attributed to the school’s three-part strategy including community development, early intervention and a Student Services team.
