Summary
Connecting Community for Kids is a collective impact initiative aimed at improving the wellbeing and development of children and families in the Cockburn and Kwinana areas of Perth.
While the overall trend showed a decline in developmentally vulnerable children, Kwinana has higher proportions of developmental vulnerability in the Perth metropolitan area. As a result, the team developed a community engagement strategy with four themes: child health; social isolation; financial strain; and safety.
